General properties and uses:

At present, most rosin in our country is directly used in the production of papermaking, paint, soap and ink. Due to the disadvantages of easy oxidation and low softening point of rosin, the paint industry often uses the carboxyl reaction of resin acid to make resin acid ester and resin acid salt, which are then used. However, the synthetic rubber and ink industries use the double bond reaction of resin acid to make disproportionated rosin, polymerized rosin, hydrogenated rosin and so on for reuse.

Most rosin products are currently packaged in 0.4mm thick galvanized iron drums. Most of the galvanized iron sheet comes from imports. The galvanized layer is 17 layers with a thickness of 0.4mm. Some of them are made of domestic galvanized iron sheet. However, they are often easy to oxidize due to too little galvanized layer and are not hard enough due to slightly poor thickness (0.35mm).
