This standard is applicable to the control of the quality index of granular lac.
This standard is proposed with reference to the international standard ISO 55-1977 Granular Shellac.
1 Definition
Particulate lac refers to the product processed by crushing, screening, washing and drying of lac gum. Raw materials for processing shellac products.
2 Technical requirements
The indexes of granular lac at all levels shall meet the requirements in the table below.
3 Packaging, transportation and storage
3.1 packaging
Packed in sacks, lined with a layer of fine cotton cloth, each bag weighs 50~75kg. The sack is printed with the words of manufacturer, product name, date of production, sun protection and moisture protection. Each bag must be placed with inspection index certificate.
3.2 transportation
The product must be covered during transportation, sun and rain are strictly prohibited, and placed away from heat and humidity.
3.3 storage
It must be placed in a dry, ventilated and cool room and must be turned over frequently to avoid caking.
4 Product inspection
The inspection of various technical indicators shall be carried out in accordance with the GB8143-87 Inspection Method for Shellac Products. If one of the indicators fails, it will be regarded as a nonconforming product of that level.
