The Forestry Chemical Plant of Shuangjiang Lahu, Va, Blang and Dai Autonomous County (hereafter referred to as Shuangjiang County Forestry Chemical Plant) was initially established in 1973, situated alongside National Highway 214 to the southwest of Shuangjiang County town, merely 3 kilometers from the county, and was originally a state-owned enterprise. In January 2003, it underwent restructuring through acquisition and became a privately owned sole proprietorship. The plant covers an area of more than 145 mu, housing two production lines: one is an intermittent process line with an annual output of 20,000 tons of rosin, 3,600 tons of turpentine; the other produces 2,000 tons of shellac sheets or pellets and 10 tons of food coloring annually.
